Chadema Political Party

• The Tanzanian Chadema political party, an acronym for Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo, translates to the Party for Democracy and Progress in English. It is one of the main opposition political parties in Tanzania, established in 1992 following the country's return to multi-party politics.
